Mark Powers is the newly appointed Director of Dial-A-Teacher, Inc., a program initiated by the Union and funded primarily by Rochester Teachers. Dial-A-Teacher, Inc. began its twenty-second year of service in September 2002. Six teachers, including one Spanish-speaking teacher, are available each evening, Monday through Thursday, from 3:30pm-7:00pm to respond to phone calls from students and parents.
